I’m Brandy, a wedding photographer based in Ohio and Kentucky, documenting celebrations throughout the Midwest and destination locations. My work blends observation with gentle direction so images feel composed while still completely honest to the moment.
I photograph weddings because they are one of the rare days where everyone you love exists in the same place at the same time. The dress matters. The flowers matter. But the way your grandmother watches you walk down the aisle matters more.
I pay attention to what most days move past too quickly, the hand squeeze before the aisle, the breath after the vows, the way your family looks at you when you are not looking back.

My Approach
A wedding day moves quickly. My role is to keep you inside it.
I photograph weddings with a balance of observation and guidance. During naturally unfolding moments I step back and document what is happening. During portraits I give simple direction so you never feel unsure of what to do, but you still look like yourselves.
Most of the day you will not be thinking about the camera at all, and that is intentional. The goal is not to create a photoshoot inside your wedding. The goal is to preserve the day as you experienced it.
I work closely with couples and planners before the wedding to build a timeline that protects both the experience and the images. When the structure is right, everything feels calmer and the photographs reflect that.
From getting ready through the reception, I am paying attention to interactions, family dynamics, and small exchanges that often become the most meaningful photographs later.
Whether I am photographing a Cincinnati wedding, a celebration in Northern Kentucky, or a destination wedding weekend, the approach remains the same. You stay present and the images follow.

Before the wedding we plan enough that you feel prepared, but not so much that the day feels scripted. You will know when photos happen, how long they take, and where you need to be, which allows you to relax once the day begins.
During portraits I guide you into natural movement rather than stiff posing. During the rest of the day I step back so you can stay with your family and guests instead of the camera.
Your timeline will have room to breathe.
Your gallery will include the big moments and the in between ones you never saw.
