This editorial with AMV Weddings was designed to honor that setting. I chose to share these images in black and white because they feel lasting, refined, and honest. While color can be beautiful, black and white often brings your attention back to shape, movement, and emotion.
Why Couples Love The Swan House
Few venues offer what The Swan House does. Grand columns, formal gardens, stone staircases, and historic architecture give the estate its signature look. Because of that, the space already feels elevated before a single candle is lit or flower is placed.
For photography, that matters.
A strong venue adds depth to portraits, presence to ceremony images, and texture to every detail shot. It also gives couples a setting that feels memorable without needing too much added to it.
A Wedding Editorial That Feels Timeless
Some wedding design is meant for the moment. However, the best design still feels beautiful years later.
That is what made this editorial stand out.
The fashion felt modern, yet classic. The florals were thoughtful without feeling heavy. The tablescape felt polished, but never forced. Every element had room to breathe, which is often what makes luxury design feel so strong.
Instead of competing for attention, everything worked together.
Why Black and White Wedding Photos Still Matter
Color tells one story. Black and white tells another.
It removes distraction and lets light lead the frame. It highlights movement, texture, and expression in a different way. Because of that, the images often feel more emotional and more timeless.
The gown texture stands out. Meanwhile, the architecture feels stronger, and every frame feels clean and lasting.
There should always be room for both.
From Atlanta to Cincinnati and Beyond
While this editorial took place in Atlanta, I also photograph weddings in Cincinnati, throughout Ohio, Kentucky, and destination locations across the country.
No matter the location, my approach stays the same. I want the images to feel elevated, but human. Beautiful, but never stiff. Honest, while still artful.
That balance is what I care about most.

Behind The Lens
Rooted in the Midwest and shaped by a refined, editorial eye, my perspective is guided by intention and ease. I believe in slowing down enough to notice the quiet gestures, the fleeting glances, the details that carry meaning — and capturing them in a way that feels timeless and artful. My approach is understated yet elevated, allowing you to feel fully present while I create imagery that reflects both the sophistication of your day and the warmth of your story. What I stand for is simple: photography that is as enduring as the moments themselves, crafted with care and quiet elegance.
